One day, two men found a corpse in the tub when they were going to clean it. The team from NCIS: Gibbs (the leader), Maggie (Special agent), Ziva and Tony (field agent), and others came to the crime scene and investigated the case. The corpse’s fingerprints showed his identity. He was Petty Officer first class, Edward Bick, stationed in Norfolk U.S.S Lockwood. Then, they pulled the corpse out of the tub. After looking for further information about the corpse, Tony and Ziva were asked to meet Bick’s wife, Tara Bick. Tara told them that 3 days lately, seemed like Bick was being watched.
In Autopsy, the doctor told Gibbs that the corpse suffered violent drowning and he also showed a dent on Bick’s head. The doctor found a piece of money in Bick’s mouth. After that, Gibbs went to meet Abby and ask her to explain the picture on the screen. Abby told him that was a bullet of the rare gun. Gibbs came back to the office and asked the team to explain what they had got, but they had nothing to explain. When Gibbs turned, Abby came and told him about the sign on Bick’s head. That was such a steam control which was made by British. They assumed the murder might be occurred in British vessel.
Gibbs met with Peter Malloy, Major British Royal Marine. Gibbs asked permission to get access to the ship, but Malloy rejected it.
In Lab, Abby told Gibbs that there was such powder which could be seen only in a black light on the money that found in Bick’s mouth. Abby told him that the CIA used it as a tracking device. Then, Gibbs went to meet Miss Tennison, CIA agent, in the shipyard. Gibbs asked her whether Bick worked for CIA because he had CIA’s money, but she said that CIA had not operation in US. If Bick had the money, because there was an operation to deliver cash to Afghanistan, but the mission was canceled and the money never had been on the ship.
Ziva tried to get an access to the ship and promised Malloy that they would do the investigation quickly, and Malloy allowed them. Gibbs knew about that. Ziva and Tony went to particular control room and found the steam controls that exactly match with the sign on Bick’s head. While they were taking a picture, Malloy came and asked them to go out from the ship because the ship would depart soon, but it was canceled because something wrong happened on its machine. Actually Gibbs did it, so Ziva and Tony continued the investigation. They found the powder on the ship. It indicated that the money had been there.
Gibbs met Miss Tennison again and told her that she lied, but she confirmed that the mission was canceled and just three people knew about it, Bick, herself and Malloy. Gibbs got a call from Maggie; he told him that he found a record which showed Malloy’s car was leaving the Norfolk shipyard. Then, Gibbs interrogated Malloy, but he confirmed that he did not kill anyone.
In the lab, Abby found that Malloy was not a British Navy officer but he actually was Elston Harkin, a Secret Intelligence Service agent.
When Gibbs went home, he found Malloy/Harkin sat in the living room. Malloy/Harkin asked him to make cooperation in finding the murderer. They had a deal.
Abby found that the powder on the money had a particular DNA that only found in Diego Garcia. Bick never had been there, it meant that he ever been in contact with someone who ever been there. After looking for the information, Maggie found that there was CIA station in Diego Garcia. They assumed that Tennison was the murderer. Then, they found that she had ordered a helicopter. They noted the time and the place of her arrival.
Malloy/Harkin was dressing as a sailor and sitting in the room when Tennison came. She was surprised and threatened him with a gun. The gun was the same gun which was used for killing Bick. Then Malloy/Harkin asked her why she killed Bick, she answer because Bick saw her with the money and tried to stop her. Gibbs came and threatened her with a gun, then Ziva took Tennison’s gun and Tony caught her.
“I am actually saving life by keeping the money“, Tennison said. Gibbs replied, “But you did not save Bick.” Then Tony brought her.
