20 of September was my first time attending class of The Principles of Effective Teaching and Assessment. It was quite interesting. The course was about appropriate teaching method for effective learning.
Last meeting we were discussing about the effective teaching and effective teacher. We do group activities in identifying the characters of effective teaching and the effective teacher. It was quite good for us as teacher candidate to give us the vision of what effective teaching is and what effective teacher is.
I was really interested in joining this class because as the candidate of teacher I should know how to teach effectively and how to be an effective teaching. After our discussion I got the vision of what effective teaching and effective teacher are. Effective teacher could make effective teaching. Effective teaching should arrive at the objectives of the course. How we create effective teaching and be effective teacher would be learnt on this course.
We did not discuss about the assessment yet because at the first meeting we just talked about effective teaching and effective teacher. It was really interested. I hope after finishing this course I am able to be effective teacher and create effective teaching.

ReplyDeleteif the effective teaching should release the learning objectives, so we have to know how to make correct learning objectives. yeah, that's what we are dealing with in this course.. I hope we will learn about that soon ya..
ReplyDelete@Green Girl:Personally I think, effective is not only let the students know about something new, but also let them able to use it in real world. Teaching and learning activity should meaningful.
